OMG… I had those books!! What a beautiful post. It made space for the memory of those beloved volumes. My favourite was the story of Poppy – a fairy found in a man’s slipper. I remember so vividly she plugging the holes of a colander with plasticine, and it darker and darker. I imagined that would be exactly something I’d do. Thanks for the glimpse into those inner volumes of memory longing to be dusted off and revisited. – Heidi
